Eastern Michigan University
Active Directory/NT Domain Password
Active Directory Accounts
The Division of Information Technology migrated all university-owned faculty and staff computers into the Active Directory (AD) system in 2012. People who are on the AD system will log into their computers with their my.emich usernames and passwords instead of NT account or local account credentials.
Please note: anyone on AD who uses the W: drive (also known as Common or Share drive) will use NT Domain credentials to connect to the shared drives. Migration of these shares will occur in 2013; your department will be notified to coordinate your folder migrations. If you have questions, please contact the Help Desk at 734.487.2120.
NT Domain Password
Anyone who needs access to the W: drive (also known as Common or Share drive) shares should use their NT Domain username and password.
If you have forgotten the password for your EMU_NT Domain account, this link will reset your password so you can access the EMU_NT Domain resources again:
Reset or Obtain an EMU_NTDOMAIN Password
This process takes five (5) minutes to reset your password. Please allow this time before trying to access the network resource or workstation.
NOTE: The link and instructions provided on this page only reset the password for EMU_NT Domain accounts and are not connected or related to the my.emich or any other password that you use on campus.
