

Getting Involved in International Week is easy!
It doesn’t matter if you are a student or faculty member – there are a number of ways that you can participate in International Week. The most important thing is that you get involved!
- Give a lecture in your department on an international topic – a travel, work, or study experience.
- Invite an outside speaker to come and speak on an international topic of interest to your department or program
- Organize an international film/video series in your department.
- Invite international students and faculty in your program to present on a topic related to their country – let them share information about beliefs, customs, or education systems.
- Organize a brown-bag lecture series on international projects and activities conducted by the faculty in your department.
- Have an ethnic pot-luck lunch in your department and learn something about where the food originated from and how it is related to traditions.
- Host a discussion hour with an international faculty member or international students.
- Volunteer to participate in International Week. There will be conferences, lectures, films, sports, and a variety of other activities occurring that will all need your help.
