Many of us will join others in the area tonight:
The Transgender Day of Remembrance was set aside to memorialize those who were killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. Please join us as we will be honoring the day with a ceremony of featured speakers, followed by a catered reception. The event will be held on Friday, November 20 in the Palmer Commons Great Lakes Room at the University of Michigan. Doors open at 6:30pm, the ceremony starts at 7:00pm, followed by the reception lasting until 9:30pm. Directions and a map of Palmer Commons can be found at the following web address: http://palmercommons.umich.edu/directions/
Wednesdays @ 5:00 in 347 Student Center
Coming Out is a lifelong, continuous process. This group welcomes gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning people to come together and discuss issues regarding coming out, being out, sexuality, identity and other topics. This group will foster a safe space where people can verbalize their concerns about the process of coming out and being out.
