MISSION STATEMENT: Your Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Resource Center provides a comprehensive range of education, information, and advocacy services. We work to maintain and open, safe, and supportive evnvironment for all students, staff faculty, and campus community.
VISION STATEMENT: We recognize the intersections of gender and sexuality with the multiple identities we share such as race, ethnicity, age and culture. We choose to not merely tolerate, but respect and honor each individual. We hope to continue t build an inclusive campus community that accepting of all people.
WHO WE ARE: The LGBTRC team includes a professional staff coordinator, a student coordinator, and student employees, and you!
WHAT WE DO: Your LGBTRC offers educational trainings and facilitated dialogues for the classroom, student organizations, staff meetings, special events, and more. Our social and educational events are intended for the entire EMU campus community. Your LGBTRC events include lectures, movies, performances, panels, discussions, conferences, and much more. Your LGBTRC seeks to strengthen and build the EMU campus community as one that is supportive and inclusive of ALL individuals through our programming and events.

WE PRESENT INFORMATION AND RESOURCES: Your LGBTRC has a library full of information you can check out to use for class projects or your own leisure reading. We have numerous subscriptions to magazines, along with online resources. Here, you can find information about LGBT identities, culture, and history. Come and relax in a safe and inclusive environment.
