Search the Archives' Finding Aids:
Established in 1970 by President Harold E. Sponberg, University Archives houses and manages the university’s inactive records. Materials are selected, preserved and made accessible for their enduring historical and administrative value.
Art Club, 1934
Materials in the Archives may be print, audio-visual, digital or artifacts and includes:
- Minutes, correspondence, reports, and publications produced by administrative, academic, and research units in the course of University business.
- Records of students, faculty, staff, alumni/alumnae, and student organizations.
- Published and unpublished materials that document all aspects of the EMU community and local history.
University Archives staff also provides consultation to the university community to address questions concerning proper management of active records, the appraisal and transfer of inactive records and provide access to resources and materials for administrative and historical research.
