Self introduction :
I'm here to help new students adjust to finding their way around our huge University Library. My primary goal is to help new students gain the skills and confidence they need to independently and successfully do research throughout their academic careers. I regularly provide reference assistance to students, staff, faculty, and the community, as well as instruction to both groups and individuals. I also represent the library at many campus-wide events, and provide outreach services to local highschools in order to assist the library in fulfilling EMU's goals of recruiting and retaining a capable student population.
I do the majority of library instruction for introductory level English and Speech courses, so if you are an instructor looking for a librarian to introduce the library to your students, please feel free to contact me!"
