CINAHL is a bibliographic database that indexes items from journals, books, audiovisuals, pamphlets, software, dissertations, and research instruments in all of the allied health professions. This database can be searched to limit by different criteria, such as age groups, publication type, and gender. Because it is a paid subscription database, off-campus access is limited to students of Eastern Michigan University and you will have to log in using your my.emich username and password. PubMed is a bibliographic database that indexes journal articles in the life sciences, concentrating on biomedical information. PubMed is created and is maintained by the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, and contains all of the citations in Medline, plus additional citations and services.
