RefWorks has been discontinued
The EMU Library did not renew the campus site license to RefWorks. If you have content in RefWorks that you want to keep, you will need to move it out of RefWorks before the contract ends on June 30, 2012.
You have a number of options.
- Purchase a personal RefWorks subscription at a cost of $100 per year
Personal RefWorks accounts do not support space to upload article attachments, nor do personal RefWorks accounts support RefShare.
To transfer all references and attachments from your EMU RefWorks account to your new, individual RefWorks account, follow instructions to backup and restore references in RefWorks
[Since attachments are not supported in personal RefWorks accounts, DESELECT the option to include file attahcments in both the BACKUP and RESTORE process.] - Export your RefWorks references into a file format that can then be imported into another bibliographic management program, e.g., EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley. The EMU library will be supporting Zotero, a no-cost bibliographic management tool.
