Problem: Browser, Network, & ISP Settings
Problems logging in to library online resources can also be caused by web browser, personal computer, or local network problems. Common problems include:
- Browsers: Many library databases require the use of more recent browsers.
- Browser cache: Clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser, and try to connect again.
- Local firewalls: if you are connecting through a corporate or institutional firewall, it might prevent use of the library proxy that is required for login. Contact your local network administrator for support.
- Internet service provider: some ISPs, especially satellite providers, may prevent use of the library proxy. Contact your ISP for support.
