Searches
When you can't find a book or other item on the shelf:
- Check the library catalog to be sure it is not checked out, or in another location (such as storage.)
- If possible, look on any book carts or tables nearby.
- Use the Search Request Form
- Library staff will search for the book and notify you of the results.
- If the book is found, it will be held for you at the Circulation Desk.
- If the book is not found, it will be marked as Missing in our library catalog, and you can then try requesting it through MelCat.
