The Linguistics Program at Eastern Michigan University offers undergraduates an English Linguistics Major and Minor, and an English Language Major and Minor.

Graduate programs at EMU include a Master of Arts in English Linguistics and a Certificate in Language Technology.

Students interested in practical applications of English linguistics are also advised to consult the program for the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), which is offered by the Department of Foreign Languages and Bilingual Studies.
