Phase #1
of the project has been completed, including initial meetings,
focus groups, document review, site visits and analysis, and the
first open campus meeting.
The master planning phase (Phase
#2) is under way. During the summer months, the project consulting
team will conduct an in-depth evaluation of all information, and
will develop a preliminary master plan. The Facility Planning
Team will meet with the consultant team to further the preliminary
master plan.
By early fall, systems planning will take place,
including architectural review, transportation/circulation, and
development zones.
In September, there will be an open campus meeting
to present the preliminary master plan to the University and Ypsilanti
communities.
