2014 Scholarships and Awards Ceremony

The Department of Mathematics is looking forward to recognizing our students' outstanding achievement in mathematics at the annual Scholarship and Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 7.

Over $17,000 in mathematics scholarships will be awarded.

Shout Out to Erin Schade and Our Math Tutors

As we are approach the end of another academic year, we want to thank our math tutors in the Math Tutoring Center (411 Pray Harrold) for the countless numbers of students they have worked with this year.  Often, one person can make a real difference in whether a student succeeds or gives up.

A special thank you to Erin Schade, our Coordinator of the Math Tutoring and Testing Center.  Erin has been with us for nearly 2 years and the success of the tutoring center is due in large part to her.  She's earned the respect and admiration of the tutors and mathematics faculty.

Erin along with 8 tutors will attend the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Undergraduate Mathematics Conference in Terre Haute IN this April.
