I am primarily interested in the use of technology (such as Maple and Mathematica software) in the teaching of mathematics at the college level. As such, my research is related to areas of mathematics where technology use is extremely important such as numerical analysis, dynamical systems, differential equations and linear algebra. At the end of 2010, a book I wrote with Karl Frinkle from Southeastern Oklahoma State, called "Principles of Linear Algebra with Maple", was released by Wiley. This book uses the mathematical software Maple extensively. A second version of this book called "Principles of Linear Algebra with Mathematica" was then released.
