Winter Undergraduate Music Schedule


Registration begins Nov. 3, 2009

This class schedule was designed and approved by the Department of Music and Dance faculty. As you will see, nearly all "classes" occur before noon and all ensembles after 1:00. The faculty believe it offers a variety of improvements, most notably the elimination of conflicts between classes and ensembles and greater flexibility for students wishing to participate in both vocal and instrumental ensembles.

Note the following:

1. Student Recital are Thursdays at noon. Do not schedule any non-music courses for this time since you are required to attend several recitals during the semester.

2. Students enrolling in MUSC 302: History of Music are NOT required to enroll in a Special
Topics Writing Intensive Course concurrently. This was a fall-only requirement.

While the University's printed Winter 2010 Course Schedule is mostly accurate, there are a few changes that have occurred since it was published.
