About the EMU Marching Band

 

General Information

Practice Schedule
            - Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4:05-6:05 p.m. and Saturdays prior to games or events.

Performance Schedule

• All home football games, away trips, parades, potential bowl appearances
• BANDORAMA concert
• Area Exhibition Performances

Enrollment

• Enroll for 1 credit: University Band 149
• Participation fee $90-130

 

Auditions

All incoming students will audition at the July Pre-Camp held on Saturday, July 14, 2012. This audition is for chair placement consisting of the music mailed to you in your summer band camp packet, approximately June 1st, or following your Fast Track Orientation visit. 

 

Additional Opportunities

Basketball Band

• Open to all EMU students
• Rehearse once per week
• Perform at all home games
• Possible tournament and post season travel
