2012 Alumni Honors Band

4:00 pm Concert
Please join us for the annual Alumni Honors Band event Sunday, April 15th in Pease Auditorium.
The concert will include performances by the Symphonic Band, under the direction of Amy Knopps, and the Wind Symphony, under the
direction of Mary Schneider, featuring Chad Snider, trumpet, 2011 Winner of the William Stewart Undergraduate Concerto Competition.
Alumni Band highlights include a performance of Herbert L. Clarke’s "Cousins," with guest artists Woody English, trumpet,
and Don Babcock, trombone. We are honored to welcome back former Director of Bands Scott Boerma as the guest conductor who will conduct his
own "Shadows," commissioned by Thurston High School in memory of Ted Smith.
