5:45-7:15 p.m.  Check in and registration, Alexander Music Building

7:30-9:30 p.m.  Rehearsal — Alexander Music Building

9:45 p.m.   Transport to Hotel
11:30 p.m.   Lights Out

 

Saturday, January 26, 2013

7:15 – 8:00 a.m.  Breakfast  (at hotel, Conference room)

8:15 a.m.   Transport to Alexander        

9:00 - 11:45 a.m.  Rehearsal — Alexander Rm. 105

Noon – 1:00 p.m.  Lunch at Student Center

1:15-2:45 p.m.   Sectional Rehearsals with EMU Faculty – Alexander
3:00-5:00 p.m.   Rehearsal—Alexander Rm. 105
5:15 – 6:15 p.m.   Dinner at Student Center

6:45-9:00 p.m.   Rehearsal—Alexander Rm. 105
9:15 p.m.   Transport to Hotel
9:30 p.m.    Pool and Pizza Party, Hotel
11:30 p.m.   Lights Out

10:00 - 12:00 pm   Dress Rehearsal--Pease Auditorium
12:00 p.m.    Box Lunch – provided at Alexander Music Bldg.
1:00 p.m.   Return to Pease - change into Concert Dress                        
2:00 p.m.    HONORS BAND CONCERT--Pease Auditorium
3:00 p.m.     Post-Concert Reception - Backstage (parents invited)

                                               
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is Concert Dress? Your high school band or orchestra uniform.
  • What about my car? All cars driven by Honor Band members must be parked (and left for the weekend) in either the Alexander Guest Lot or the Ford Parking Lot. Transportation will be provided by the EMU Bands.
  • Where will I stay? Can I commute from home? Lodging for the weekend will be provided at an area hotel. EMU Honors Band member must be housed in the hotel, even those students in proximity to EMU.
  • What about meals? All meals must be taken with the EMU Honors Band.
