Musicianship Classes
These classes musically prepare students for future private instrumental/vocal study. Each week students will participate in a 45-minute group class guided by an EMU faculty member certified in Music Learning Theory. Students will respond to music by moving, singing, and chanting. They will build music vocabulary (rhythm and tonal) of increasing difficulty, learn correct foundation in piano keyboard technique, and perform pieces from Keyboard Games Book A and/or B in the Music Moves series by Marilyn Lowe.
