Mark Pappas coordinates the Eastern Michigan University Jazz Combo Program, both teaching the ensembles and setting up performance opportunities. He is also the assistant jazz ensemble director, running one rehearsal per week. His EMU appointment as Part-time Lecturer Faculty began in the fall of 2003.
In 1991, Mark was awarded a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from North Texas University and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in euphonium performance from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
