Tim Smola

Dance

 

Mr. Smola, owner and director of Central City Dance Center, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from the University of Michigan. He is a former member of the Peter Sparling Dance Company and a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. During his career, Mr. Smola danced in works by world-renown choreographers Merce Cunningham, Martha Graham, and Paul Taylor. In the commercial circuit he danced in Walt Disney’s European Engagement of Pocahontas and toured with the International Auto Show Circuit. Mr. Smola has taught and performed for Dance Companies, Studios, Figure Skating Clubs, and Universities for over fourteen years and is currently a Part-time Lecturer at Eastern Michigan University, Dance Department.
