EMU offers the following undergraduate degree programs in music and dance

 

Application Process


1. University Application

All prospective students must submit an online application to Eastern Michigan University.

International students, please visit International Admissions for additional information and support.

 

2. Department of Music and Dance Application

All prospective students must submit an online application to the Department of Music and Dance at least seven days prior to the audition date.


3. Recommendation Forms

All applicants must solicit two recommendation forms prior to their audition date.

 

4. Audition Day

Required of all applicants.

Students with previous keyboard experience are encouraged to take this.

Students applying for Music Therapy or Music Education will meet with appropriate faculty.

Audition Results

Official audition results are determined by the Department Head based on the recommendations of the music faculty and are mailed to the applicant, normally within ten business days of the audition.
