Typical Audition Day Schedule
Auditionees will receive receive a written confirmation of the Audition Day schedule in the mail approximately two weeks prior to the scheduled audition.
In the meantime, please note below the overall schedule for the day:
8:00 am - Registration and Check-in (Alexander Music Building)
8:30 am - Parent/Student Information Session
9:30 am – Instrumental/Vocal Auditions and Piano Placement Exams
11:00 am - Music Theory Placement Exam
12:00 - Luncheon Reception
12:30 - Advanced Music Theory Placement Exam
1:00pm – Music Education (Instrumental) Interviews
Other activities on during Audition Day include the opportunity for visitors to observe or participate in classes and ensemble rehearsals. A list of classes will be provided at the 8:30am Parent/Student Information Session. Campus tours may also be arranged with prior notice.
