Audition Requirements: Trombone & Euphonium
The following are representative solos/etudes appropriate for people auditioning for the Bachelor of Music curriculum. Other works of comparable difficulty are also acceptable. It is not necessary to prepare entire multi-movement pieces, but to be able to demonstrate the ability to play LYRICALLY and TECHNICALLY. In auditions, more stress is placed on the quality of performance and literature than on the difficulty of the work(s). You will also need to be able to demonstrate ALL MAJOR SCALES and some ability to SIGHT READ.
