To promote the understanding and art of clarinet playing to students at EMU. Meetings take place in 206 Alexander at 11 am every Thursday.
Dance Forum seeks to enrich and support student activities in the EMU dance program. The forum meets twice per month, hosts parties, organizes fundraisers, works with the student government and the forum faculty advisor, and presents special activities for freshmen. Activities have included holding fundraisers, offering community dance workshops, sponsoring masterclasses and producing concerts. The Dance Forum faculty advisor is Phil Simmons.
We, the brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi, believe that service to the college or university band program fosters responsibility, loyalty, and leadership; that a spirit of brotherhood is enhanced by the participation in a band program; that music is a universal language and truly the greatest of the arts; and that through fraternal participation, each member will strive for the highest standard of excellence.
Mu Phi Epsilon is an International Professional Music Fraternity whose purposes are the recognition of scholarship and musicianship and the promotion of friendship. Its aims are the advancement of music throughout the world, the promotion of musicianship and scholarship, loyalty to the Alma Mater, and the development of a true bond of friendship. The Fraternity is composed of Collegiate Chapters, Alumni Chapters and Allied Members.
MTSA serves to educate music therapy majors and non-majors about music therapy. It provides opportunities for music therapy students to meet, learn and prepare for their career in music therapy and to educate the community about music therapy and provide community service opportunities for music therapy majors. The faculty advisor is Michael McGuire.
Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority provides service to collegiate bands, encourages the advancement of women in the band profession, and promotes and enriches an appreciation of band music through recognition, leadership development, and education of its members
