Vision

Our vision is to be recognized as a vital place to learn about music therapy and to receive music therapy services in a state-of-the-art environment.

Mission

The mission of the Music Therapy Center is to provide

  • immediate educational opportunities to EMU music therapy students
  • immediate and concentrated clinical music therapy services to members of the community
  • continuing education programs to music therapy professionals and others

Workshops

Sat. Oct. 10: Clinical Techniques Using Piano and Guitar. Dr. Alan Turry, NRMT, MT-BC, LCAT, Managing Director of the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Center at New York University, presents a workshop on clinical improvisation. 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Alexander Music Building.
