Trombone Choir & Ensembles

The Eastern Michigan University Trombone Choir

The Eastern Michigan University Trombone Choir is an exciting group at EMU. It is a required ensemble for all trombone majors and available to all other trombonist at EMU by audition. The trombone choir performs in a variety of venues and performs music from the past to the present. In 2003, the EMU Trombone Choir performed in concert with EMU's Measure for Measure and also in the Music Now Festival. In 2004, the Trombone Choir performed in a local music series in Farmington Hills and in a joint concert with the MSU Trombone Choir. The Choir frequently performs holiday concerts. Each winter semester, members of the Trombone Choir are divided into chamber groups which perform in the annual Low Brass Fest. The Low Brass Fest is usually held near the first of April.
