Accessing the my.emich Calendar

The my.emich calendar is a web-based program used for recording tasks and events. To access the calendar, log-in to the my.emich portal and click on the Calendar icon.

You may also access the my.emich calendar when you are off campus. Using a browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, access the my.emich portal at http://my.emich.edu and click on the Calendar icon.

By default, all EMU faculty, staff and students have an individual calendar with their name as the title. Based on integration with other campus systems, additional calendars are created for every course in which you are teaching or enrolled. Select the calendar you wish to view using the Current Calendar drop-down box located near the top, right of the screen.

To navigate to a particular calendar date, you can use any of the following methods:

• Click the Jump To icon to move to a specific date.
• Use the arrows, located to the left of the date heading, to move the date forward or backward. The current calendar view determines whether you move a day, a week, a month or a year.
• Click the forward and back arrows, located at the top of the miniature calendar, to move the calendar forward or backward one month.
• Click on a specific date within the miniature calendar to move to that date.
• Fill in the date fields located below the miniature calendar and click the Jump To icon to move to that date.
