Customizing the Portal
All my.emich users have a my.emich and Tutorial tab. Additional tabs that display for each user are, by default, dependent on their role within the university. For
example, an EMU employee who is also taking classes would have both an Employee tab and a Student tab.
Based on individual needs, a user may choose to add additional tabs to the interface, modify the layout of a
particular tab or rearrange the order in which the tabs display. Users may further customize the portal by adding additional channels, customizing channel content or rearranging the channels that display on each tab.
Tab and channel properties are controlled from the Manage Content/Layout page. Click on the Content/Layout link, located above the my.emich tab, to access the Manage
Content/Layout page and modify your portal settings.
