NACRA
is a collaborative organization of approximately 450 case writers and teachers,
mostly in the business disciplines, who support each other’s research and
writing efforts. Our members are from all over the world, teach at many
types of universities and offer expertise in various disciplines.
Meeting
Format
NACRA’s annual conference is held in the fall as an
opportunity for case writers and teachers to develop and maintain a network of
contacts, an invaluable source of ideas and support for the case method. The
centerpiece of the conference is the case roundtable discussions, which take
place on Friday and Saturday mornings. In the afternoons, paper and symposia
sessions are presented. For newcomers to NACRA, there is a half-day workshop on
Friday morning and the opportunity for feedback on case embryos-case ideas
needing development. The conference begins Thursday evening with an opening
session and reception, includes a Friday evening dinner that highlights the
locale, and concludes with an awards luncheon on Saturday and preview of the
next year’s conference. The submission deadline is
