MEMBERS ABSENT: Marion Crandall, Tom Averett, Karen L Simpkins

Reviewed and approved minutes of May 23, 2002 subcommittee meeting with no corrections.

Reviewed Self-Study items for operating principles 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 (G. Hammill): Hammill submitted the report and it was reviewed by the committee. Hammill will bring back another draft at the 6/13/02 meeting.

Reviewed Self-Study items for Operating Principles 1.3.2. and 1.3.5. (K. Orscheln): The committee reviewed Orscheln’s draft report. Orscheln will bring back another draft at the 6/13/02 meeting. Orscheln stated she will be available only for the first ½ hour; she should be placed first on the agenda for 6/13 meeting.

Reviewed updates: Vic Chiasson distributed an updated report on Operating Principle 1.2. He will secure Minutes from 1/15/02 Board of Regent’s meeting, which will provide additional information for his final report.

Confirmed next meeting date of 6/13/02.
