• Matt Lucas was welcomed as the new member replacing Lee Reed.

• Whitney gave a brief report from the Steering Committee.

• Greg report that the Multicultural Lounge had been reserved for the Open Forum.

• Whitney report that an announcement of the Open Forum was listed on EMU Today and would be included in the Focus EMU.

• It was agree that flyers would be posted around campus. Matt and Whitney took responsibility for this task.

• The committee reviewed and made changes to the current draft of the report.

• It was decided to e-mail the revised draft to the Steering Committee members not later than Monday, September 16, 2002.

• The next meeting will be scheduled after the steering committee review of the draft.
