NCAA Steering Committee Minutes

September 16, 2002

Members present: Jeff Armstrong, Dave Diles, John Dugger, Whitney Harris, Carole Huston, Bob Okopny, Kathy Tinney, Jim Vick, Sandra Williams

Report Review:

• Academic Integrity: John Dugger distributed copies of the 9/15/02 draft report, which will be circulated to the Faculty Council for their review prior to his meeting with them on September 18. Steering Committee members were asked to review the document and communicate any comments or corrections directly to John so they can be incorporated into the document prior to the next Steering Committee meeting on September 26.

• Fiscal Integrity: The Steering Committee completed its review of draft 3 of the Fiscal Integrity report and made several suggestions for improvement. Operating Principle #3 will be reviewed at the September 26 Steering Committee meeting.
