We invite you and your colleagues to submit proposals for the 26th Annual Conference Within a Conference (CWC) co-sponsored this year between NCPEA and the NAESP.   

Send to CWC@ucdenver.edu.  Participants must register for the NAESP conference.  Complete information below, add proposal and send attachment by email. 

Please submit a proposal suitable for presentation to school administrators and applicable to the NAESP Themes and relevant elementary/middle school issues. Papers for presentation unrelated to Elementary/Middle School Education should not be submitted to CWC-NAESP but instead be submitted for the NCPEA or related annual conferences. Authors are encouraged to submit work jointly researched and prepared by teams of both professors and administrators.

Themes for the CWC-NAESP Conference from NAESP Website: The NAESP Annual Convention and Exposition is your opportunity to learn, connect, and become a stronger principal. Our information- and session-packed meeting focuses on the “must-know” topics and issues facing elementary and middle school principals, such as:

  • Instructional Leadership 
  • A Vision for School Culture
  • Leading Diverse Learning Communities
  • Maximizing Technology

You’ll learn about best practices and practical strategies from colleagues and practitioners, researchers, and experts and keynote addresses by nationally known speakers.

 

 

Be certain to enclose all of the following (incomplete proposals cannot be considered):

 

·       this cover sheet

·       and a cut and paste of the abstract of the paper (1½-2 pages).  The abstract should contain the following sections: (a) background and purpose of presentation, (b) methodology of study/or conceptual framework  (c) major findings or perspectives, and (d) implications of study/presentation for practice.
