Annual Events

Each year the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance hosts a series of events at Eastern Michigan University. These events are a great way for members of the Alliance to get involved in the program, get to know their peers and network with nonprofit professionals to prepare for a career in the nonprofit sector. Nonprofit Career Summit

Each year in March the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance hosts the Nonprofit Career Summit at Eastern Michigan University. The event is designed for students to gain perspective on nonprofit organizations straight from nonprofit professionals. Students get an opportunity to learn from those who are in the field and it is a great way to network with nonprofit professionals.

Spring Swing Dance

The Spring Swing Dance is a social event hosted by NLA at the Rec/IM. The event is a fundraiser to help students attend the annual AMI conference. Each year the night kicks off with lessons followed by open dancing.

End of Year Celebration

The annual NLA / AS-L celebration is an event to recognize those who played key roles in the success of NLA. This event features awards for student of the year, board member of the year and internship provider of the year. In addition, NLA recognizes key contributors to the program.
