A typical CNP...
To complete the program, all students must:

1. Communication, Marketing and Public Relations

2. Cultural Competency and Diversity

3. Financial Resource Development and mangement.

4. Foundations and Management of the Nonprofit Sector.

5. Governance, Leadership and Advocacy


  • Has met or exceeded Alliance Certification standards
  • Has professional nonprofit management skills.
  • Knows the nonprofit sector.
  • Has real world experience.

  • Achieve ten professional competencies.
  • Complete a 300-hour internship.
  • Be involved in the NLA Student Association.
  • Attend at least on Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Management Institute.
  • Take Advantage of provided opportunities such as menorships and professional development.
