Internship information
Nonprofit Leadership Alliance scholars are required to complete 300 hours of community service for their nonprofit management certification. Students who choose to do an internship can meet with the program’s internship coordinator. To be eligible for an Nonprofit Leadership Alliance internship, a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required. The internship requirement is a minimum of 180 hours and counts towards the 300 community service hours.
The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Program will work with students to make sure that their internship experience is academically and personally rewarding for her/him. Valuable work experience and exposure to the nonprofit sector is important. NLA internship contract is required for each internship.
