Students and graduates who are interested in increasing their knowledge, skills, and abilities may apply to take courses to earn post-bachelor certificates in two areas: Teaching in Health Care Systems and Quality Improvement in Health Care Systems. 

Earning additional credentials broadens a nurse’s career options and helps the nurse to judge readiness for graduate study. The courses in both certificates may be applied toward requirements for a master’s degree in nursing at EMU.
