Sigma Theta Tau International is the honor society for nurses in both the United States and other countries. The local chapter is Eta Rho, which was chartered at EMU in 1984. Eta Rho is committed to scholarship of nursing students and nursing leaders in the community. The chapter activities include granting awards and an annual induction of new members.
