The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program was approved by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing in 1973 and has had continuous external professional accreditation since 1978. The programs, both BSN and MSN, are currently fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) until 2012.

The School of Nursing invites both internal and external members of our community of interest, including but not restricted to students, clinical agencies, administrators, advisory members and alumni to submit written comments to CCNE. Third party comments in written format will be received by CCNE until 30 days before our on-site evaluation that is scheduled March 14, 15, & 16, 2012. Written comments should be sent to:
