EMU nursing alumni are everywhere!

The Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery Unit of the University of Michigan Hospitals is one such place. In spring 2005 senior nursing students had their adult health clinical experience there. Several graduates are represented on the unit. Some nursing alumni from the unit are:

John Fields, a 2006 BSN graduate of EMU School of Nursing, was named in 2008 Outstanding Nurse in the Emergency Room at Detroit Receiving Hospital. In early 2009, John was promoted to ER supervisor for the night shift there. Congratulations John!

EMU School of Nursing is proud of the 33 year tradition of preparing nurses at the undergraduate level and 13 years at the graduate level. EMU nursing alumni practice in local, regional, national, and international venues.
