For example, every summer during July the city hosts the Ann Arbor Art Fair which is located downtown which attracts approximately 500,000 people each year! There are many ways to get to Ann Arbor. Driving to Ann Arbor is possible by way of Washtenaw Avenue or I-94 going west. You are also able to take the AATA (Ann Arbor Transportation Authority) bus system. Several routes go into Ann Arbor including route 4, route 3 and route 5. Route maps and schedules are available on their website at www.aata.org. You can also hire a taxi throughout Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. There are many taxi companies within the area which you can find by internet or phonebook.

Ann Arbor is also a close transportation hub. The Amtrak (http://www.amtrak.com/) train system stops in Ann Arbor and is a direct connection to Chicago. Greyhound Bus lines (www.greyhound.com) also stop in downtown Ann Arbor and go all across the United States. MegaBus (http://us.megabus.com/) is a new bus system that offers very inexpensive service to Chicago from Ann Arbor.
