'My.emich' is Eastern Michigan University's personal portal and official form of communication. This is your personal link to EMU, class registration, calendar, final grades, and much more. Getting Your Student ID Number And PIN

You received this information with your acceptance letter from EMU. Your student ID number will look like: E00123456. You will need both your student ID number and PIN number to open your 'my.emich' account. If you have lost this information please contact Records and Registration at 734-487-2300.

Setting Up 'my.emich'

Go to Eastern Michigan University's main web page (www.emich.edu). Click on the 'my.emich' in the upper, right corner.
Click on How do I get my username and password.
Once the page for 'my.emich' Account Activation opens, follow these steps:

  • Choose Students; select Next Step
  • Type in your student ID and PIN (listed on your Acceptance Letter); click Submit
  • Write down or print the page with your username and temporary password; click Next Step
  • Type in user name and password; click Login
  • Answer challenge question and create a unique challenge question

Now you have personal access to EMU and a university email address.

Getting Your Eagle OneCard

You must have a local address, be registered for classes, and come to OIS check-in before you may apply for your Eagle OneCard. To apply for your Eagle OneCard, please visit the Eagle One Office located at:

Hours: Monday- Thursday from 9am– 5pm. Friday from 9am-4pm
