Parents and Families

We consider you, the family, an integral part of the collegiate experience. That's why we invite you to attend New Student Orientation with your student.

Fast Track

Part A of orientation, Fast Track, is a one-day program where you and your student can get the "business" of becoming an EMU student done, including registering for classes, taking an ID card photo and getting answers to questions about paying for college.

EMU welcomes families and guests (two guests/family members maximum per student); however, there are no child care services available during this program.

First Four

Part B of orientation, First Four, is a four-day, intensive program introducing students to EMU resources. We invite you to attend day one of First Four, Friday September 1, 2017. Each student may bring up to four guests/family members; however, there are no child care services available during this program.
