Welcome to the Parking Department

The Parking Department provides adequate parking and transportation services for Faculty, Staff, Students and Visitors while on Eastern Michigan University's Main Campus. EMU Parking Department oversees enforcement of parking regulations and traffic control, while managing parking hang tags sales, fines, gate receipts and meters.

Updated: AATA SHUTTLE #33 COLLEGE OF BUSINESS SERVICE: Service for the AATA shuttle #33 (COB) will NOT be operating for the Summer Semester. Service will resume Fall 2013 Semester. For further information and shuttle schedule please visit AATA at theride.org.

Updated: TRINITY SHUTTLE - RYNEARSON SERVICE: Service for the Trinity Rynearson shuttle will NOT be operating for the Summer Semester. Service will resume Fall 2013 Semester. For further information contact the Parking Department at emu_parking@emich.edu.

FALL HANG TAGS AVAILABLE:

Starting July 22, 2013 hang tags may be purchased online. Hang Tags ordered on or before August 18, 2013 will be mailed.

Tags purchased online after April 19, 2012 will be ready for pick up the following business day after 4pm at the Parking Department, accessible Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended online pick up hours TBD. The Parking Department is located at 1200 Oakwood. Please bring a photo ID when picking up your hang tag.

Starting August 19, 2013 hang tags, Commuter & Resident, may be purchased in person at the Parking Department located in the Public Safety Building at 1200 Oakwood between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30pm.

SUMMER HANG TAGS AVAILABLE:

Starting March 25, 2013 commuter hang tags may be purchased online. Hang Tags ordered on or before April 21, 2013 will be mailed.

Tags purchased online after April 21, 2012 will be ready for pick up the following business day after 4pm at the Parking Department, accessible Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended online pick up hours April 22, 2013 to May 23, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Parking Department is located at 1200 Oakwood. Please bring a photo ID when picking up your hang tag.

Starting April 22, 2013 hang tags, Commuter & Resident, may be purchased in person at the Parking Department located in the Public Safety Building at 1200 Oakwood between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30pm.

SUMMER HANG TAG REQUIRED:

Commuter hang tags must be displayed on the rear view mirror by May 20, 2013. Any vehicle that is parked in a designated lot on or after May 20, 2013 without a valid hang tag will be ticketed.

Residents (anyone living on campus) must have their hang tag displayed on the rear view mirror and must be parked in designated Resident areas only by May 6, 2013. If a vehicle is parking in a resident area without a hang tag on or after May 6, 2013 it will be ticketed.
