The Parking Department provides adequate parking and transportation services for Faculty, Staff, Students and Visitors while on Eastern Michigan University's Main Campus. EMU Parking Department oversees enforcement of parking regulations and traffic control, while managing parking hang tags sales, fines, gate receipts and meters.

AATA SHUTTLE #33 & #34 SERVICE: The last day of service for the AATA shuttle #33 and #34 will be April 30th. Shuttle service will not be provided for the Summer Semester and will resume in September. For further information please contact AATA at theride.org.
SUMMER HANG TAGS AVAILABLE: Starting April 5, 2012, commuter hang tags only may be purchased online. Hang Tags ordered on or before April 22, 2012 will be mailed.
Tags purchased online after April 22, 2012 will be ready for pick up the following business day after 4pm at the police service window, accessible 24 hours, located at 1200 Oakwood. Please bring a photo ID when picking up your hang tag.
Starting April 23, 2012 hang tags may be purchased in person at the Parking Department located in the Public Safety Building at 1200 Oakwood between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30pm.
SUMMER HANG TAG REQUIRED: Commuter hang tags must be displayed on the rear view mirror by May 18, 2012. Any vehicle that is parked in a designated lot on or after May 21, 2012 without a valid space will be ticketed.
Residents (anyone living on campus) must have their hang tag displayed on the rear view mirror and must be parked in designated Resident areas only. If a vehicle is parking in a resident area without a hang tag on or after May 7, 2012 it will be ticketed.

Hang Tags ordered online after August 19, 2011 will be ready for pick up the following business day after 4pm at the police service window, accessible 24 hours, located at 1200 Oakwood. Attention Apartment Tenants: Starting July 23, 2012 hang tags may be purchased online. HangTags ordered on or before September 14, 2011 will be available for pick up at the Residential Services Office the following business day after noon. Please bring a photo ID with you when picking up your hang tag. To purchase a hang tag after September 11, 2011, please bring photo ID and leasing information to the Parking Department.
Starting August 20, 2012 hang tags may be purchased in person at the Parking Department located in the Public Safety Building at 1200 Oakwood between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30pm.
