Clubs, Field Trips, Organizations & Associations
Eastern Michigan University's official, campus recognized Philosophy Club is comprised of students from all fields and disciplines who share one thing in common: a love for wisdom.
A wonderful resource for those who are formally studying philosophy, Philosophy Club offers homework help, tutoring, peer review of papers and collaborative preparation for exams. Furthermore, for those interested in studying philosophy at the graduate level, it serves as an invaluable information network. There is no insight which replaces that of a fellow student's. If you are majoring, minoring, fulfilling a general education requirement or just love to talk philosophy, participate in a Philosophy Club meeting!
Though the Philosophy Club is dedicated to enriching the academic experience of its members, it is also an active social organization. After each weekly meeting all members and interested persons are warmly invited to a fun evening at the Tower Inn.
In the past Philosophy Club has met every Tuesday night at 8:00 pm in the Halle Library. However, this is subject to change. Join the Philosophy Club group on Facebook to receive regular updates about meetings, recreational activities and scholastic opportunities.
Questions, comments, and concerns may be emailed to the club's president, Kassey David at kdavid@emich.edu.
