Biggest Energy Loser

Biggest Energy Loser

Contest Description

Biggest Energy Loser is a yearly contest that pits buildings against one another to see who can decrease their energy use the most from one year to the next. Note that the contest is determined by a rate decrease instead of merely who uses the least energy. This helps even the playing field for different size buildings and buildings with different amounts of occupants.

Rules

The participating buildings are determined by the Energy and Sustainability Manager for the campus each year. Energy use data is gathered from meters at participating buildings and will be made available when possible on this website. Contest winners are solely determined by the Energy and Sustainability Manager once all of the necessary data has been collected.

Current Contests
