Named Loan Funds

A named loan fund is student financial aid, the source of which is a gift of $1,500 or more.

Gifts of less than $1,500 for student loans will be accepted and deposited without restrictions into a general student loan account with loans made in accordance to the loaning policies of the university.

A named loan fund may be named for or by the donor(s).

Criteria for making loans shall be determined by the donor(s) and the director of financial aid.

The maximum amount of a loan may be determined by the donor or at the discretion of the director of financial aid within general University policy.
