A current restricted scholarship is student financial
aid, the source of which is a gift of less than
$10,000 which shall not be endowed.
The scholarship may be named for or by the donor(s)
and will retain its identity until the
gift is expended or until it is placed in the Eastern
Michigan University Scholarship Fund.
A current restricted scholarship may be awarded
on the basis of merit, financial need or any combination
of other criteria determined by the donor and the
director of financial aids.
The naming of students to be honored by receiving
a current restricted scholarship shall be the responsibility
of the director of financial aids.
The amount of each scholarship may be established
by the donor and the director of development in
consultation with appropriate University personnel.
