Department Awards

Robert Anderson Award

The Anderson Award is awarded annually to a junior or senior undergraduate Psychology Major who has demonstrated outstanding performance in Psychology.

Requirements
  • Junior or senior standing
  • completion of at least 30 credits at EMU
  • completion of 15 or more credits in the psychology department (including PSY 205 & 301)
  • overall GPA of 3.5

Applicants apply in March and decisions are made by faculty before the annual Psychology Awards Ceremony in April. 2013-2014 applications are due by noon on Friday, March 21, 2014.

Wilbert J. McKeachie Award

The Marshall/McKeachie Award is awarded annually to two students.

Requirements
  • Best poster presentation at the Undergraduate Research Symposium
  • Best oral presentation at the Undergraduate Research Symposium

Winners are announced at the annual Psychology Awards Ceremony in April.
